what is wrong with this file structure?
As you can see there are some files that needs to be put into the folders so that it will be easier for the person to find a certain file he or she is looking for.Most of the pictures or photos like IMG_0059 and DSC00796 have different numbers that needs to be renamed into a proper name according to what the picture actually is .This person also needs to create a folder where he can save all the images in.Another mistake he has in this file structure is that there’s two year 11 iTec folders.It would be really confusing if thers’s two folders for a certain subject because you wouldnt know what files you have in which folders.The word documents needs to have a folder for itself too because anyone can edit or mess with the work you have done.
why is this p:drive structured like this ?
i have structured my p:drive in year levels and in tose folders i have smaller folders for each subjects that i have.i structured it like this because it would be easier for me to find all my files.
For example if i was looking for my 11 iTec work i would just go to the folder that says year 11,then in it will be a folder which have all my year 11 iTec work.Do not name your file jgfqakdjifhd because it would be really annoying and it will take forever to find what your looking for.

what is a p:drive?
A p:drive is a storage device where you can save all your work,pictures,music etc etc at Glenfield college.It also allows you to open,save and udate your work.
Where is your p:drive?
The p:drive is located in the server room which is in A block,it has cables connecting,running throughout the whole school.
How do we access it?
You can access your p:drive by using your username and password which is connected to the server to login into the server to get access to your files.we use a unique username to let the server know who we are and the passwords is used to cornfirm that you are the real user of the p:drive account.
Who has access to it?
In the school the teachers have access to your p:drive,but you are the only student that can access your own account.
